I found the inspiration for this outfit on Chictopia on yst's blog and thought it was brillant idea! I wore tube tops as skirts before and was really intrigued to try this out myself.
When you're shorter or have a larger shirt you could tie it under the bustline to create a dress-effect. On me it looks more like a skirt and caused confused stares and some questions... :)

Yeah, I saw this on lookbook.nu and it's definitely a great "DYI" to try out. You look great in! Definitely will make my head turn if I saw you walk by wearing it. But I definitely won't give you a (o_O) look if I did see cause this brilliant!

That is soo cool! At first look its like a very pretty skirt, but I can't belive it's a shirt. Kindof an update on the whole MK Olsen trying the plaid shirt around her waist thing. Anyways I love it. And may copy you haha! xx

@ Kathrynsky: Sorry für die späte Antwort... Hmm es gibt eigentlich keinen Trick, das Hemd war einfach ziemlich gut gebügelt und ich hab dan vorsichtig die Aermel verknotet. Gib mir doch Bescheid obs geklappt hat, anonsten probiere ich das nochmals und lass Bilder davon mache. Step by step Anleitung sozusagen. :)
